The purpose of this blog is to distribute information about the International Education & Study Abroad Program at Olympic College.

Olympic College is a public institution located in Bremerton, Washington. Olympic College is recognized as one of the top community colleges in the nation. In 2017, we received the Outstanding Partner of the Year for our long-standing apprenticeship program with PSNS & IMF. In 2015, we were honored by the Aspen Institute as one of the Top 10 Community Colleges in the nation. We serve 8,500 hundred students annually at campuses in Bremerton, Poulsbo and Shelton. Olympic College is home to one of the largest military-connected student bodies in the state. One of the fastest growing populations at the college is Running Start, with more than 1,000 high school juniors and seniors taking classes. Our close proximity to Seattle and high-transfer rate to prestigious universities make Olympic College an ideal destination for International Students.

OC International Education - English Language Placement Into Academic Courses

English placement into college-level academic courses Click for printable pdf The following minimum scores will be accepted for placement into English 101 (English Composition 1): Duolingo: 101+ If the Duolingo test score is less than 101, the score will determine what level of Intensive English (levels 1-5) the student must be placed into at Olympic College.
