The Olympic College Conversation Partner Program (CPP) is a Bridge to Language Proficiency and Friendships

This valuable program is provided by the International Education and Study Abroad Department in collaboration with the Multicultural Department to serve the international student body. American students are invited to join this volunteer program to provide weekly English conversation practice. It is a special opportunity for international students to learn American culture, and the student volunteers also learn a lot about the culture of the international students. It is common to see good friendships develop between the volunteers and the intrenational students.





To deepen the bonds between the international students and the student volunteers, the Multicultural Office plans events. On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, the office hosted a Bowling Night event at a local bowling alley. It was a fun time for everyone.

English placement into college-level academic courses Click for printable pdf The following minimum scores will be accepted for placement into English 101 (English Composition 1): Duolingo: 101+ If the Duolingo test score is less than 101, the score will determine what level of Intensive English (levels 1-5) the student must be placed into at Olympic College.
