International Student Free Summer Housing & Success Program at Olympic College

Starting college in a new country is a big step and Olympic College is committed to helping international students feel supported, connected, and prepared from the moment they arrive.

Through our Summer Housing & Student Success Program, students can begin their college journey early with free summer housing while building friendships, improving academic readiness, and adjusting to campus life in a welcoming community environment.

Students receive:

  • Free Residence Hall room
  • Summer Orientation
  • Academic advising with a dedicated Success Coach
  • Residence Hall activities and community engagement
  • Peer mentoring and student connections

This program is designed to help students transition smoothly into college life while creating a strong foundation for Fall Quarter success.

English placement into college-level academic courses Click for printable pdf The following minimum scores will be accepted for placement into English 101 (English Composition 1): Duolingo: 101+ If the Duolingo test score is less than 101, the score will determine what level of Intensive English (levels 1-5) the student must be placed into at Olympic College.
